Odense Cathedral, built in the 14th century, is a Gothic cathedral with a high and bright nave. In the crypt, you will find the earthly remains of Canute the Holy, Denmark's last Viking king, which is also why the church is known as St. Canute's Church. Additionally, Kings Hans and Christian II are buried in Odense Cathedral. The impressive altarpiece from the 16th century, crafted by the woodcarver Claus Berg, is also worth close examination.
