The concert hall was designed by architects Per Hougaard Nielsen, C.J. Nørgaard Pedersen, Lars Møller, and Birthe Rørbæk. The Odense Symphony Orchestra is based in Odense Concert Hall, which was inaugurated in 1982. Most of their performances take place in the Carl Nielsen Hall, an outstanding concert venue renowned for its excellent acoustics and seating capacity of 1,212 people. Additionally, it features a 46-stop organ built by one of the world’s leading organ manufacturers, Marcussen & Søn. You can purchase drinks and snacks in the foyer, which you are welcome to bring into the hall. If you’re looking for a more substantial meal, there are several great dining options near the Concert Hall, including ODEON, located right next door.
